Employee: Clocking In and Out through the WAE App

  • Updated

Employees use the WAE app to clock in and out at the start and end of each scheduled shift.

Clocking In and Out

  • Clock In: Available up to 5 minutes before your shift starts.
  • Clock Out: Available up to 15 minutes after your shift ends.
  • Only one clock in and one clock out is needed per shift. Employees are only required to have two punches total for their scheduled shift.
    • For employees working double shifts, you only need to clock in at the start of the first shift and clock out at the end of the second shift.

Breaks

  • Shifts over six hours include an unpaid 30-minute break, which is automatically deducted.
    • No need to clock in or out for the break.
  • When clocking out, if a break is required, a pop-up will ask you to confirm:
    • Yes, I took a 30-minute break – You’ll be asked to review and confirm your hours.

    • No, I did not take a 30-minute break – You’ll be prompted to submit a Time Dispute. These will go to the facility to confirm. Recording Your Time In WAE Picture3.png

Leaving a Shift Early

  • If you clock out before your scheduled end time, WAE will ask for a reason.
  • After entering a reason, review and confirm your hours. Recording Your Time in WAE Picture4.png
