WAE provides GPS tracking to help employers confirm employee attendance and on-site presence. GPS data is visible directly on the Timekeeping page via each employee’s timecard.
How to View GPS Data
- Go to the Timekeeping page
Locate and open the employee’s timecard. - Find the GPS Status
On the right side of the timecard, click the hyperlinked GPS Status to open the GPS map. - Review GPS Pings
A map will display GPS pings collected from the employee’s WAE device.- Red pings indicate locations outside of the job site.
- Pings at Clock In and Clock Out times are marked.
- Select Pings to Display
Check the box next to any ping listed to see its location on the map.
GPS Status Definitions
- Present – GPS pings confirm the employee was on-site for the full shift.
- Partial Shift – Only part of the shift was tracked on-site, or GPS data was incomplete.
- No Show – All pings were recorded outside the worksite.
- No GPS Data – No GPS pings were collected from the device.
