Employer: Reviewing and Resolving Disputes

Enterprise users can quickly review and resolve timecard disputes in WAE. Disputes include employee-provided details and suggested corrections. With one click, you can apply the changes and move the timecard back into the approval process.

 

How to View Disputed Timecards

In the Timekeeping section, there are two ways to find disputed timecards:

  • Click Step 3 at the top of the Timekeeping page. This will display all timecards requiring dispute resolution.
  • Use filters or tags to show only timecards marked as Disputed.

Disputed timecards are visually marked—punch fields appear in orange to match the Step 3 color coding.

Reviewing and Resolving a Dispute

  1. Click View Dispute on the timecard.
  2. Review the employee’s reason and the suggested time correction.
  3. Choose one of the following actions:
    • Accept & Update: The timecard will be automatically adjusted with the employees’ suggested changes and returned to Step 1 of the approval process.
    • Decline: Close the Dispute Details and manually update the timecard based on employer records. The updated timecard will also return to Step 1. Reviewing and Resolving Disputes Picture3.png
