Cancelling Shifts

CANCELLING SHIFTS: Employees can cancel upcoming or pending (if approval is required) jobs in the 'My Jobs' tab.

How to cancel shifts:

  • Go to the "My Jobs" page and view Upcoming Jobs you have scheduled. If you do not see the job listed, please update the date range first
  • Under the selected date range, find and click into the job you want to cancel
  • Swipe down to the bottom of the job details page and click on "cancel job"
  • IF the job is part of an ongoing shift, you can choose to either cancel just the one shift you selected, or the entire series of shifts.
  • Type in the reason for your cancellation and submit.

Cancelling shifts with more than 24 hours notice will not result in an Attendance Strike.

Cancelling shifts within 24 hours of the start time WILL result in an Attendance Strike.

All cancellations affect your Reliability Score. Please keep this in mind before signing up for a shift.

Shifts can be cancelled up until the scheduled start time. You cannot cancel the shift after it has already started.

If the shift has already started, you will be considered a no-show under the attendance policy.

Please note that the app is self-service and WAE Support cannot not cancel your shifts for you.
